THE Hair Design of Tennessee is owned by sisters Janna Griffin and Taryn Escobar. The two have been been doing hair and makeup for over 20 years. They got their start traveling as a team doing pageant hair and makeup, but since then, have found a love for all styles of the art. They once had two separate successful businesses, but have now come together to serve clients all throughout the state of Tennessee and beyond!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a minimum service requirement to travel on location?
We have a minimum service requirement of three people in order to travel to your location. If you are below this minimum, you can always come to our location (we have one in Sevierville and one right outside of Nashville) or you can pay the difference to meet the requirement.
What brands does THE Hair Design use?
We have several brands that we love including Morphe, Urban Decay. Maybelline New York, Tarte, Revolution, and Anastasia Beverly Hills. We utilize various brands in order for our artists to decide what will work best for your skin type and create the exact look you are going for! If you have an allergy to a specific makeup ingredient, please let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you.
Do you offer trial runs?
YES! Although we do not require a trial run, we love getting to do them and highly recommend them. It is a great opportunity for us to spend some time together before the big day and perfect your look so there is zero stress when the real day comes!
For weddings, what does the process look like to prepare for wedding day?
Once your contract is signed and your deposit has been paid, you are on our books and ready to go! When you have your day-of itinerary, send it over to us so we can go ahead and work out a schedule for the day. Within 2 weeks of your date, we will have a timeline ready to go for you so you know exactly what to expect! Until then, feel free to reach out with any questions you might have!
